Overview

ReadyVets Veterinary Urgent Care proudly serves Taylors, Greer, Greenville, and Spartanburg. We take pride in providing our patients with the best care, doing everything in our hands for the health and safety of your four-legged friends. We work to make sure your pet is the healthiest they can be, and to reciprocate the unconditional love they give to us

Dr. Capps has been practicing in the Upstate for 9 years. The first 6 years were spent primarily as a general practitioner doing weekend relief work at local emergency rooms, the last 3 years have been spent exclusively in referral emergency practice and providing surgical services to busy local family veterinarians. Dr. Capps is a graduate of Greenville’s Southside High School, Clemson University and the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He has a special interest in respiratory disease, urinary tract disorders, and ophthalmic (eye) disorders

Mission — Our intent is to bridge the gap between your family veterinarian and the specialty emergency rooms that have existed as the main options for pet owners in the Greenville-Spartanburg area. We hope to bring a more affordable, lower wait time and less stressful choice to pet owners whose pets have illnesses or injuries that fall outside of the scope of their regular veterinarian. Our goal is to diagnose and treat minor to moderate illnesses on an outpatient basis, from there you can follow up with your regular veterinarian or we can provide a referral to an emergency or specialty hospital as needed
