Dr. Lindsey Dixon grew up in Carthage, Tennessee, where she enjoyed shadowing her grandfather, Dr. Gordon Petty. She graduated from Smith County High School, and then went on to study at Tennessee Tech University. After early admission into the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. In 2009, she opened Smith County Animal Clinic

We strive to exceed our clients' expectations in delivering quality care to their animals. At Smith County Animal Clinic, we recognize the human animal bond and are dedicated to strengthening this bond through education by our friendly staff. Our main emphasis is early disease detection and early intervention using our cutting-edge technology and continuing education for our doctors and staff
