Dr. Shelton graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Having grown up in Erwin, it was her dream to be able to stay home and serve the veterinary needs of her community. This dream became a reality when she was offered a position at Unicoi Animal Hospital in 2001 which eventually led to her being able to purchase the hospital in 2008. Since then, she has been the sole practitioner in the practice, working everyday to care for the pets in our area
