Lone Star Dentistry and Oral Surgery for Animals was founded March 18, 2022. Dr. McCoy and Dr. Kocsis began working together in 2018 when he hired her as a veterinary practitioner with a strong interest in dentistry. That passion led Dr. Kocsis to begin her residency training with Dr. McCoy in Dentistry and Oral Surgery, which she completed in March 2022. Through their time working together, Dr. McCoy and Dr. Kocsis discussed their long-term goals and eventually developed a business partnership. This partnership was founded on the idea of continuing to provide exceptional oral care while expanding the practice footprint to comfortably accommodate more clients and patients. This involved moving the referral dentistry within Nasa Pet Hospital to a new location limited to dentistry and oral surgery, which would permit each practice to serve clients to its full potential. This new practice became Lone Star Dentistry and Oral Surgery for Animals

Mission — While our mission is to provide veterinary dental health care for our veterinary patients, we are also active participants in the evolving educational processes in veterinary dentistry
