Our Veterinarian, Dr. Bert Ellsworth bought Cass County Veterinary Clinic and started practicing in Atlanta, Texas in August 2019. Growing up in a racehorse family Dr. Ellsworth has had the opportunity to live in, and experience many different parts of the country; including a 4 yr stay as a child in Benton, Louisiana. Dr. Ellsworth graduated from Vet School at Kansas State University Veterinary in 1995. He started at a mixed animal practice in Idaho. However an illness in the family precipitated a move to California soon thereafter, where he worked as a small animal Veterinarian and emergency Clinician until later when he bought and operated Tehachapi Equine Medical Services. When the timing and opportunity arose, he chose to move his practice and family out of California and became a mixed animal practitioner in Oklahoma and East Texas in 2008. Dr. Ellsworth is happy to have finally landed in Atlanta, Texas where he plans to permanently remain
