6 Whiskers

We started our mobile vet practice, 6 Whiskers because like many of our fellow Austinites we too share a love for our furry family members and the beautiful community we live in. Coupled with our passion for veterinary medicine, we're constantly seeking new ways to offer better pet care. As a two person, woman owned, mobile practice we keep Austin frisky by building real relationships and being more than just a veterinarian. We are your primary resource for all of your pet needs. All of our appointments are conducted onsite and within the comfort of your own home

The two of us met in Columbus, Ohio in late December 2005. Dylan was working as a leasing consultant and Dr. D'sa had just been accepted into the veterinary program at The Ohio State University. We were married shortly after Dr. D'sa's graduation on October 10, 2010 (yes 10-10-10!!). A lifelong love for animals of all shapes and sizes has always ranked high with both of them and travel takes a strong second place. Coupling the two have taken them on quite a few adventures to both domestic and international destinations. One such adventure occurred in 2012 on their honeymoon in Bali where they were introduced to scuba diving and have been hooked ever since. They have recently joined the Austin Aquanauts, a local dive club, and are looking forward to more diving opportunities!
