Honnas Veterinary was established in 2023 by Dr Cheri Honnas. Originally from Bryan, Texas, Dr Honnas followed in her veterinarian father’s footsteps, studying at Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, before moving into the field. Dr. Honnas later returned to Texas A&M for her residency before she began working overnights at Lakeway Veterinary where she learned key information about what it means to be an emergency vet. With a clear vision for what Honnas Veterinary should be based on the needs of Austin’s pets and their owners, Dr Honnas then opened her own stunning vet clinic and animal hospital on South Lamar Blvd, where she leads a team of caring and devoted staff, to deliver a range of veterinary services with excellence
