Overview

At Tarrytown Veterinary Clinic, we've transformed two classic neighborhood bungalows into something special. Behind our black and white awnings and past our whimsical pet statues, you'll find a different kind of veterinary experience—one that honors the laid-back spirit of lake days and tree-lined streets. We're not trying to reinvent veterinary care; we're just bringing it home to Tarrytown. From lake-soaked retrievers to porch-lounging cats, we care for the pets that make Tarrytown special. Our vintage charm meets modern veterinary expertise in a space where both you and your pets feel comfortable. We believe great veterinary care should feel as natural as a neighborhood stroll, as reassuring as a familiar face, and as genuine as Austin itself

Dr. Charlie Meynier and Dr. Allison Jenkins began their veterinary careers and their friendship over 20 years ago at Bryker Woods Veterinary Clinic in Austin, Texas, under the mentorship of Dr. Greg Biehle. Their paths diverged when Charlie moved to Vail, Colorado, where he founded Vail Valley Animal Hospital and established the community's first 24-hour emergency clinic, Vail Valley Animal ER. Two years later, Allison also made the move to Colorado, working alongside Charlie at the emergency clinic before establishing her own successful practice, Highlands Animal Clinic in Denver. After selling their Colorado clinics and charting their paths back to Texas, Charlie and Allison have made that dream a reality with the opening of Tarrytown Veterinary Clinic
