Javier Gomez was born and raised in El Paso. With an interest in science, biology in particular, he entered the veterinary field in 2008. He began in a small animal clinic as a volunteer, then later as a technician. It was during this time that he found an interest in veterinary medicine and developed a deep obligation and responsibility to patients under his care. He would finally graduate from Iowa State University in 2020 and entered the field as a veterinarian that same year. As a veterinarian, he showed a special interest in emergency, critical care, and internal medicine. He also developed a very individual patient-guided style of medicine. In his first year as a veterinarian, he would meet his strongest advocate and team member, his beautiful wife, Karina Trillo. Communication and passion in both were nurtured through the high demands of their work. This would lead to strong teamwork and mutual respect that would inspire them to open the clinic of their dreams
