Overview

We are proud to serve Garwood Texas and the surrounding areas. We are 2 hours from San Antonio, 1 1/2 hours from Austin, and 1 hour from Houston. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service

Mission — At Central Texas Equine Veterinary Services, our mission is to provide exceptional equine veterinary care by integrating the best of conventional veterinary medicine with thoughtfully selected complementary therapies when appropriate for the individual patient. We believe that every horse deserves a thorough veterinary evaluation, an accurate diagnosis, and a treatment plan tailored to its specific needs. Our approach combines established veterinary science with complementary therapeutic modalities when, in the professional judgment of the attending veterinarian, they are appropriate, supported by clinical experience, and consistent with applicable law. Our goal is never to promote one philosophy of medicine over another. Rather, our goal is to utilize every appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic tool available to improve the health, comfort, performance, and quality of life of the horses entrusted to our care. Every decision is guided by patient welfare, scientific knowledge, professional judgment, ethical practice, and honest communication with our clients. We are committed to continual learning and recognize that advances in veterinary medicine come through curiosity, critical thinking, careful observation, and a willingness to evaluate new ideas responsibly. We strive to remain open to innovation while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary professionalism and patient safety
