For nearly 30 years, Animal Hospital of Valley Ranch has been the trusted veterinary home for pets and their families across Irving and the surrounding communities. Led by Dr. Barry Chaikin, a Texas A&M graduate with decades of hands-on experience, our team provides compassionate, high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs, cats, and exotic companions alike

Dr. Barry Chaikin opened his own hospital in 1996. He worked part time at the Emergency Animal Clinic in Dallas from 1986 until 1998
