Dr. Robert Zamorano was born and raised in the RGV. After graduating from Colorado State University and returning to the valley, Dr. Zamorano realized the need for a 24-hour veterinary clinic. Pet Doctor 911/Animal Medical Center of McAllen opened its doors in March of 2013 for full-service routine and emergency pet care. Pet Doctor 911 is located in North McAllen and serves the greater McAllen metropolitan area as well as the entire Rio Grande Valley. A new expansion of Pet Doctor 911 provides even more state-of-the-art medical equipment, such as oxygen kennels to accommodate all pet sizes, in house diagnostics, in house pharmacy, exotic animal medicine, reproductive services and 24 hour care for hospitalized patients. We continue to add diagnostic resources to our facility, so we can continue to provide the best in house veterinary care available. We believe early diagnosis is the key to successfully treating our patients. We work with local veterinarians to help with their critical patients that require overnight care and observation. Pet Doctor 911 is fully staffed with veterinarians and experienced support staff on the premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Following the vision of Dr. Zamorano, everyone here at Pet Doctor 911/Animal Medical Center of McAllen is committed to providing compassionate, high quality veterinary care to the Rio Grande Valley
