Overview

Painted Tree Veterinary Hospital is a family-owned veterinary practice in McKinney, Texas, founded by two doctors who share a vision for what veterinary care should look like. Dr. Tony Lopez and Dr. John Pazora bring decades of combined experience serving pets and families across the DFW area. They built this practice on a simple idea: that great medicine and genuine compassion aren't mutually exclusive. Here, every patient is treated with calm, gentle handling in a low-stress environment designed to help your pet feel safe, and every client is treated as a partner in their pet's health. We take the time to listen, explain your options clearly, and work with you to build a care plan that makes sense for your pet and your family

Painted Tree was founded by Dr. Tony Lopez and Dr. John Pazora, two veterinarians who have spent their careers serving pets and families across the DFW area. Both have owned and operated their own veterinary hospitals, and both have worked in corporate veterinary settings. They’ve seen firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and what pets and their people truly deserve. That deep knowledge and lived experience form the cornerstone of everything we do. Drs. Lopez and Pazora built Painted Tree to bring their vision together under one roof: a family-owned, independent practice where clinical excellence and genuine kindness go hand in hand, and where every decision is made by the doctors who are actually in the room caring for your pets
