Dr. Mark Pirrung is a lifelong resident of Mesquite and a proud graduate of Mesquite High School, Class of 1976. He went on to pursue his passion for animal health at Texas A&M University, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1982. Shortly after, in 1983, Dr. Pirrung fulfilled his dream of opening South Mesquite Veterinary Hospital, where he has dedicated more than four decades to serving the pets and families of his hometown. With 43 years of veterinary experience, Dr. Pirrung cared for generations of pets and built lasting relationships throughout the Mesquite community
