Western Skies Over Texas was born out of a desire to serve pets and their families during one of life's most emotional and vulnerable moments. Our founder, Dr. Lisa Burnett, had gained years of on-the-job experience caring for pets at the ends of their lives, but in performing that care at traditional clinics, she saw a need to bring pets greater comfort; for all the love that she and each pet's owners could offer, these patients were still going through a difficult, stressful, and even scary experience in a space they often associated with discomfort and fear. With Western Skies Over Texas, Dr. Burnett seeks to change this care for the better. By offering compassionate in-home euthanasia, we help your pet remain where they feel safest — right by your side, in their bed, on their favorite blanket, or in the sunlit corner they've always loved
