EMBRACE Wellness Animal Clinic was founded by Dr. Anna Simmons in 2022. Dr. Simmons has a deep passion for animal health and well-fare that, since a young age, has driven her to care for all types of animals, from squirrels to cats and dogs. She has paired this passion with years of extensive experience in the veterinary field, from working as a veterinary technician, to rescue medical coordinator, and finally as a small animal veterinarian in Dallas since 2014. Dr. Simmons loves to be involved with both her patients and clients, making her an excellent member of your pet’s health team! Dr. Simmons also has a strong desire to support and promote health in the veterinary field. With a B.S. in Psychology from The University of Texas Austin, Dr. Simmons has taken measures to ensure the health of her team, recognizing that our field faces astoundingly high rates of burnout, fatigue, and suicide. She first developed EMBRACE as an acronym to encompass her vision and goal to provide education and resolution of the unique challenges that businesses and individuals face in the veterinary field, allowing her colleagues to create, exemplify, and maintain healthy, sustainable careers. EMBRACE Wellness Animal Clinic was born of her desire to promote healthy careers and healthy pets!
