Dr. Maldonado graduated from Texas A&M in 1993. Her career started in a mixed animal practice not far from San Antonio until the opportunity came to have her own practice. Since then, she has managed and practiced at Assure Vet Animal Hospital, growing it from a double wide mobile home to a new state of the art practice it is today
