Kings Highway Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary clinic that has been serving San Marcos, TX and the surrounding areas for over 40 years. We seek to provide the best possible medical, surgical, and dental care available to our patients. We offer a variety of services to small animals whether it be puppy and kitten vaccinations, dental cleanings, or a complicated illness or injury, we seek to provide comprehensive veterinary care and individualized treatment plans for all of our patients. Our large animal services include general medicine services such as vaccinations, regulatory testing such as coggins or trichomoniasis, health certificates, breeding soundness exams and palpations for cattle, and teeth floating for horses. We also offer minor surgical procedures, as well as diagnostics and treatment for illnesses such as minor colics and lameness or for difficulty calving. For the convenience of our clients, we offer farm calls to your facility when requested. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care, and health-related educational opportunities for our clients

Dr. Glenn Pape was the founder of Kings Highway Animal Clinic. Dr. Pape grew up in the San Marcos area and attended Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University). He graduated from Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. He opened the practice in 1980 and it moved to its' current location in 1997. Dr. Pape passed away on November 7th, 2016
