Overview

Fear Free veterinary care in Spring, TX. We believe in treating every pet as if they were our own — with respect, compassion, and the highest standard of medical care

In the beginning, it was a simple vision. Dr. Clara Scott, owner and veterinarian of My Family Vet, dreamed of a practice that combined excellent patient care with a compassionate, personal touch. Taking a leap of faith, she began practicing out of the front room of her own home. Word quickly spread about her skill, dedication, and heart for animals, and soon clients were showing up in greater numbers. From her home to a 600-square-foot farmhouse, Dr. Scott built a small but mighty team and made her vision a reality. As the practice grew, she opened her arms to local rescue groups, helping homeless pets get healthy and find forever families. In 2006, My Family Vet moved into a renovated ranch house in Spring, Texas, creating the warm, 'feels-like-home' atmosphere our clients still know and love today. Along the way, Dr. Scott received countless spiritual confirmations, strengthening her resolve to share her gifts with the pets and people who needed her most. As the years passed, our clinic continued to grow with more doctors, highly skilled technicians, and friendly receptionists. In 2020, Dr. Scott opened our second location in Montgomery, Texas, allowing us to serve even more pets and their families. Today, we care for nearly 25,000 patients, offering advanced veterinary medicine, client education, and a compassionate, Fear Free approach
