In 2020, Dr. Ramirez along with his wife Nelda, decided it was time to open his own clinic in the midst of Covid due to the demand of our area with limited veterinarians available. At the time we were able to have a clinic in two locations, one in McAllen and the other in Zapata
Mission — We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and giving them the same loving attention and care. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service

Surgery is by appointment only. Drop off: 9 AM (McAllen) 1 PM (Zapata). Monday: 11 AM – 5 PM (walk-in tech visits) 1 PM – 5 PM (exams by appointment only). Tuesday: 11 AM – 5 PM (vaccines) 1 PM – 5 PM (exams). Wednesday: 1 PM – 6 PM 3034 US HWY 83 Zapata, TX (956) 655-0942. Thursday: 11 AM – 5 PM (vaccines) 1 PM – 5 PM (exams) 7 PM – 10 PM (night clinic). Friday: 11 AM – 5 PM (walk-in tech visits) 1 PM – 5 PM (walk-in exams). Saturday: 11 AM – 5 PM (walk-in). Sunday: Closed. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to opening times
