Overview
Where Animal Health Comes First
It all began in 1969. Doctor Thomas E. Anderson bought the old lumber store building and converted it into a working animal clinic. Dr. Tom went above and beyond. He was a kind, generous, and patient man. He mentored many new veterinarians and anyone else who wanted to learn. Dr. Tom passed away in April of 2022. The clinic now operates from a state-of-the-art facility and thrives in Gunnison Valley

What reviewers say
The practice is widely recognized for offering exceptionally fair pricing and high-value veterinary care, prompting many pet owners to travel significant distances for appointments. The veterinary team is consistently described as knowledgeable, highly compassionate, and skilled in handling both routine care and urgent medical situations. The facility itself is clean, modern, and well-organized, with structured itemized receipts provided to clients. While the clinical care and surgical services receive glowing praise, front desk communication and scheduling availability can occasionally present challenges for prospective clients.
