2002 Laird Williams enters veterinary college with the ultimate goal of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. 2006 Dr. Williams graduates and immediately returns to Chesterfield. He spends the next six years setting deep roots in the region. He works as a full-time associate in two separate high quality practices, and also has relief shifts at several clinics in Richmond and Henrico County. The culmination of which is a good appreciation for the varied methods and styles of practice in the Richmond area. 2012 Dr. Williams considers that the time has come to 'hang his shingle' and sees a need in northern Chesterfield area for a fresh, modern approach to veterinary services. He began the process of forming his company, and by summer the clinic was born, just without a location. 2013 Huguenot Animal Hospital finds its home in an expandable lease space located in the Huguenot Village Shopping Center, at the intersection of Huguenot and Robious Roads
