Appalachian Veterinary Services has been in the practice of mixed animal veterinary medicine in the New River Valley for over 31 years. Appalachian is the premier practice people think of when seeking veterinary care in the New River Valley. The team and culture at Appalachian are some of the most special things about our practice. We fully believe that happy people take better care of animals, and we do everything with a hint of positivity. We have an enthusiastic and energetic team of doctors and a capable team of support staff ready to take on our community’s veterinary needs. The AVS team employs a fun and energetic mindset rooted in discipline, wellbeing, and compassion towards our patients and their owners. We have a haul-in clinic, as well as a fleet of mobile veterinary trucks that can come right to where your animals live
