We are a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to assist you in understanding your pet’s needs for illness prevention, treatment alternatives, and a healthy lifestyle. Our doctors will work with you to determine the most appropriate course of medical action to fulfill the needs of your individual pet. We will provide quality health and medical services, administered by doctors and professional staff who are knowledgeable, friendly, and caring

Dr. Elizabeth Hazlegrove graduated from the College of William & Mary with a BS in Biology and a BA in Anthropology. She Received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech. Upon receiving her doctorate, she began general practice at Powhatan Animal Hospital. A few years later she moved to Andersonville Animal Clinic and in 2008 she had the opportunity to purchase Andersonville Animal Clinic. While building the Andersonville practice, Dr. Hazlegrove still held onto her lifelong dream of being able to practice veterinary medicine in her home county of Cumberland. In 2012 her dream was fulfilled when she built her new practice in Cumberland and combined the 2 practices into Cumberland Animal Hospital
