Mercury Animal Hospital, Inc. first opened in 1972. At that time, it was located at 2722 W. Mercury Boulevard, Hampton. In 1976, Dr. McKelvin became a Hampton resident and a partner in Mercury Animal Hospital. In 1989, Dr. McKelvin purchased the practice and began construction of the present hospital located at 2500 W. Mercury Boulevard
