Southwest Virginia Veterinary Services was established in 1975 by Drs. Bayard and Margaret (Peggy) Rucker following their graduation from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. The original hospital, Lebanon Veterinary Clinic, was located on Highway 71 just outside of Lebanon, Virginia. Our beautifully maintained hospital was built in 1985, remodeled and added onto in 2008-2009, and is located just off the Highway 19 bypass in Lebanon
Mission — Our mission is to provide caring and compassionate care for people and their pets, continuing a proud tradition of service that began in 1975. We are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of animals through high-quality medical care, personalized attention, and a deep commitment to the human-animal bond
