Overview

We are excited to announce that our new full-service veterinary hospital on 35th & Granby is now open! We are presently scheduling all of our appointments and prescription pick-ups at this location while we refurbish our 21st Street location. This new location offers significantly more square footage than our facility on 21st Street, which allows for enhanced client, patient, and staff amenities. Our Fear Free initiatives will be enhanced with additional exam rooms (10 vs. 4), Wellkennels for hospitalized cats, and dedicated procedure rooms for services like acupuncture. We will also have a set-aside comfort room with a dedicated exit. We plan to reopen our original Ghent Vet location on 21st St. in 2026. Our Granby Vet location offers Laser Therapy, Ultrasound, Acupuncture, Cryotherapy, and Diagnostic Imaging (radiographs/x-rays) in addition to our surgery, dentistry, and wellness services

Mission — Our goal is to provide superb veterinary care in a low-stress environment. If you live in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, or the surrounding area, we welcome you to your new veterinary home! We have built and Ghent and Granby Veterinary Hospital with a mission to practice the highest quality small animal medicine with the lowest stress experience possible for you and your pet
