Overview
A Full Service Veterinary Hospital
Dr. O'Brien graduated from Michigan States' College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She earned her Bachelor of Science and undergraduate degrees in Microbiology and Public Health. Her first animal hospital that cared for the pets of New Kent and Charles City Counties opened in 1993. She built a new facility in 2000 on Pocahontas Trail in Quinton and then sold it to 2 Veterinarians in 2007. Dr. O'Brien was the practicing Veterinarian on the Island of Anguilla, where she had hoped to build a home. Unfortunately the economy did not cooperate. She returned home to do relief work until 2013, when she decided to return to New Kent and open a new facility to once again care for the pets of New Kent and Charles City County. Chickahominy Animal Hospital, Inc., opened in February 2014 at 8250 Pocahontas Tr., Providence forge, VA 23140
