For more than half a century, Allied Animal Hospital has been offering support for pets and the people who love them in Richmond, VA. We provide a range of medical, dental, and surgical services designed to meet the needs of ailing or injured pets. In addition, we offer preventative and wellness medicine, pet weight loss programs and specialized services for geriatric dogs and cats to help make sure that healthy pets stay that way. We accept Trupanion medical pet insurance, which may be able to cover up to 90 percent of the costs of your veterinary care. Our boarding facility is a place you can leave your pet without worry when circumstances take you out of town. We also offer grooming services and pet daycare, and we make referrals for training and behavioral counseling

We were founded in 1964 in Richmond, VA, as a full-service medical facility for small animals. Nearly three decades later, Dr. April Dufour became our new owner
