Overview

House call veterinary practice specializing in mobility services - including acupuncture, rehabilitation, spinal manipulation, & laser therapy. Also providing general medicine, alternative therapies, and in home euthanasia

Dr. Jan graduated from University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She received her acupuncture training in 1999 from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and started her own integrative practice in Florida that same year. In 2005 she added Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) to her skills, and acquired her canine rehab training from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2012. In the Fall of 2014, she sold her practice in Florida and moved to the mountains of northern Virginia. It only seemed natural to combine her veterinary skills with her interest in dog sports, so she established K9 Movement Improvement in 2015. In early 2020, she added the DBA name Redbud Veterinary Services as it seemed more inclusive to the other services offered
