Overview

Housecalls for pets: to keep beloved pets healthy in the comfort of your home... a warm and friendly visit, a familiar face every time, compassionate and caring, a solution for nervous travellers, a more relaxed checkup, less stressful for all!

Dr. Kerry started her journey to becoming a veterinarian at a very young age. As a toddler, she was fascinated by her family’s pets. Her first cat was named Mr. Beasley, and an old family photo shows Kerry at 5 years old, proudly smiling as she struggles to hold up a very tolerant gray tabby. As a young teen, Kerry spent summers pet-sitting for neighbors. She volunteered at a local animal hospital, and one summer spent 6 weeks as a foster parent for a mom cat and her litter of newborn kittens. She found forever homes for all of them at the end of that summer, and from that time forward, she told everyone she would one day be a veterinarian. Dr. Kerry earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont in Animal Science/Dairy Production. She went on to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She started her professional career in New York in a small animal practice, then moved on to New Mexico for mixed (small and large animal) practice, and then on to Alaska where she spent a few years working in the largest emergency hospital in the state. She and her husband then moved their young family to Vermont, where she has spent the last 13 years focusing on small/companion animal practice. She lives in Huntington with her husband Brett, their four children, four spoiled cats and two bossy dogs
