Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic in Aberdeen, WA was established in 1929 by Dr. Roy Clarke, a distinguished World War I veteran. Over his 43 years at the clinic, Dr. Clarke earned recognition for his innovative veterinary clinic designs, contributed to the discovery of the cause and cure for salmon disease alongside a team of scientists, and translated a renowned book on German Shepherd care and training. After Dr. Clarke retired, the clinic was purchased by Dr. Robert Fuller, who led the practice for the next 20 years. Dr. Fuller was well known for his dedication to wildlife rehabilitation. Dr. Michael Bergey has been the veterinarian at Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic for the past 30 years
