Blood banks save lives--and not just for humans. Bellingham Veterinary is the proud home of The Northwest Veterinary Blood Bank. Our blood bank provides lifesaving blood products to local dogs and cats, as well as pets throughout the country. Our volunteer blood donors have provided over 600 transfusions in the last year. Donors are regularly tested for infectious diseases, and receive exams at each donation
