Overview

A Higher Standard of Care. Because it means a longer, happier life for the pet you love. In everything we do, we believe in setting a higher standard of veterinary medicine. We believe in caring for pets like we would our own. We believe in helping every dog or cat live the longest, happiest life possible. It means bringing together an uncommonly talented group of professionals to do the best work of their lives. It means staying on the cutting edge of medicine and technology. And it means caring, deeply, about every soul who walks through our doors

Dr. Mike Mizumoto earned both his Bachelor of Science degree (1971) and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (1975) from Washington State University. After graduating, he began his career at Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian and, in 1981, became the hospital's owner. Dr. Mike dedicated over four decades to the practice before retiring in 2024. Dr. Rob Mizumoto has been part of Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital for most of his life. Growing up in the clinic alongside his father, Dr. Mike Mizumoto, he saw firsthand the joy of helping pets recover. At 15, Dr. Mizumoto officially joined the hospital as a kennel assistant and later became a veterinary assistant through high school and college. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Portland and his doctorate from Washington State University, he returned to Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital to practice alongside his father for more than a decade. When his father retired, Dr. Mizumoto proudly took over the hospital
