As a child I was raised on the books by James Herriot and loved the stories about not only his patients but his clients. At the time, I didn’t realize what a profound impact that would make on me until I was practicing medicine where healing the pet isn’t the whole picture. I understand that part of our job by healing the pet is helping the owner as well. I strived to create a practice that has not only quality medicine for our patients, but a comfortable personal environment for our clients
