A leading dairy veterinary practice in Wisconsin established in 1971, offering an unrivaled combination of expertise, innovation and individualized care
VVC is founded by Nels and Julie Agen in 1971. The clinic building at 707 Woodland Plaza was built to serve a busy mixed-animal practice. Dr. Jack Hansen joins VVC and later becomes a co-owner. VVC serves clients in Outagamie and Shawano counties. Dr. Brian Maas joins VVC and later joins the ownership group. VVC shifts away from mixed-animal practice, remaining committed to dairy despite hard economic times. VVC continues to serve clients primarily in Outagamie and Shawano counties. Drs. Eric Swenson and Terry Homan join VVC and later join the ownership group. VVC serves Outagamie, Shawano and Brown Counties. Dr. Steve Cove joins VVC. VVC expands to provide service further into Shawano, Brown, and Oconto counties. VVC purchases first ultrasound machine. Drs. Fred Ballweg, Mark Sauder, Jon Garber, Jenny Breutzmann, Race Price, Brian Stampfl, Kendra Wells, Brian Grandaw and Kim Wertz all join VVC as the team continues to expand and diversify. The ownership group welcomes the additions of Drs. Fred Ballweg, Mark Sauder, Jon Garber, and Race Price. Drs. Nels Agen and Brian Maas retire after decades of dedicated service to VVC clients. VVC expands to provide service in Door, Kewaunee, and Marinette counties. Embryo transfer and IVF services were developed, followed by a partnership with Boviteq and a mobile IVF unit
