Providence Veterinary Clinic first opened its doors to public service in October of 2023 with a goal of increasing the availability of high quality, compassionate, personalized veterinary care to people of the surrounding communities. With an ongoing lack of practicing veterinarians in rural areas, nearly all of the local veterinary clinics had been sold to corporate investment firms. This change in ownership, while not apparent in name or outward appearance, was evident in their clinic policies, services, and how these services were provided to residents and their pets. One of the initial goals of Providence Veterinary Clinic was to provide the top quality care that we feel all pets deserve while at the same time holding a personal respect and understanding for the clients that only private practice management could accomplish. Unlike an absentee corporation, Providence Veterinary Clinic is a proud and supportive member of the local community and strives to treat every client as if they are a member of our family and every pet as if they were our own
