Dr. John Tomlinson, Jr. is a second generation veterinarian that was born and raised in this practice, which was started by his parents in 1965. Dr. Tomlinson knew at a very early age he was going to become a veterinarian, and continue the operation of the family veterinary clinic. Dr. Tomlinson attended Potomac State College, West Virginia University, and in 1998 received his veterinary degree at Ohio State University, where he graduated with multiple awards in areas of medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and dermatology. Dr. Tomlinson traveled to California in 1999, completing a preceptorship at The University of California Davis, and returned to Ohio in 1999 to a 9 veterinarian practice. He came back to Fairlea to practice with Dr. Tomlinson, Sr. in 2002 prior to purchasing the family practice
