Dr. Perkins began his career as a 'mixed animal practitioner', working with beef and dairy cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats. A few years after founding Pollock Pines Veterinary Hospital in 1982, he narrowed his focus and has exclusively pursued expertise in small animal medicine and surgery for dogs and cats
