We are a full-service veterinary facility in Cañon City, Colorado, providing award-winning care for Fremont County's dogs, cats, horses and livestock since 1975

Dr. Donald Ley opened the clinic in 1975 to provide first-rate care for small and large animals in Fremont County. For 26 years, he practiced as a solo veterinarian. In 2001, he was joined by his son Jeremy Ley, DVM, and, in 2005, by his daughter Samantha Menegatti, DVM. In the spring of 2008, we moved our practice from its original location on Fourmile Lane to our current facility on Lincoln Avenue. Our Lincoln Avenue facility is larger and equipped with modern veterinary technology, enabling us to better serve our patients. Fourmile Veterinary Clinic has sustained its strong value of putting patients first. We celebrated our 50-year anniversary in 2025. With the retirement of Dr. Jeremy Ley in the Spring of 2025, Dr. Doug and Dr. Maranda Nicodemus took over the partnership of the clinic
