Your local St. Augustine veterinarian! Our animal hospital is conveniently located in a new facility at the south entrance to Palencia in Saint Augustine, Florida. Our goal is to provide excellent, warm, friendly, compassionate care, and life-long health for your pet. We look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged friends to our pet care family. We have an exceptional staff consisting of five talented, experienced veterinarians and a support team with particular interests in many aspects of pet care. In 2016 Dr. Vencil became the owner of Palencia Pet Clinic, taking over for Dr. Peter Veling who selected him to uphold the excellent medical standards he had established. Prior to that, Dr. Vencil and Jennifer (also a veterinarian) returned to the coast of Northeast Florida where he worked for three years as veterinarian at a large 24-hour animal ER in Palm Coast. Dr. Vencil was then drawn to practice in St. Augustine by the beautiful beaches and fantastic community

Mission — The doctors and staff of Palencia Pet Clinic have a passion for pet care. We believe in treating our patients as if they were members of our own family. Therefore, we will recommend the same procedures and products we would want for our own pets. We emphasize preventative care, provided in a friendly and comfortable environment for our clients and their pets. Our goal is to apply the latest in veterinary medical advancements to properly diagnose, treat, and care for our patients. We will treat all pet owners with dignity regardless of financial means. Our doctors will consider all of our patients' issues to create an individualized care plan, rather than a "cookie-cutter" approach.
