Our Innovation Timeline: The Foundation - Established our home base in Cumming, GA, to provide expert general practice. The Barkfield - Opened our luxury boarding and doggy daycare wing to provide a safe 'staycation' for local pets. Tech Integration - Enhanced our facility with digital radiology, ultrasound, and a high-speed in-house laboratory. Today - Serving as Forsyth County’s all-in-one hub for wellness, mobile care, and pet lifestyle services. Founded in Cumming, Georgia, Barkfield began as a mobile veterinary clinic built on the belief that high-quality care should be convenient, compassionate, and accessible. As our community grew, so did we. In 2014, we expanded to include daycare and luxury boarding, creating a safe and enriching space for pets beyond medical visits. In 2018, we brought it all together by adding our full-service veterinary clinic to our facility, completing what we proudly consider a true trifecta of care: Mobile Animal Care, Boarding/Daycare and a full medical facility
