At Iowa Equine, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional, evidence-based veterinary care tailored to the unique needs of every horse and rider. Since 2013, our practice has proudly served Central Iowa—including Ames, Des Moines, and surrounding communities—from our fully equipped clinic in Huxley, Iowa, as well as through mobile farm call services within a 40-mile radius

Since we opened in 2013, we’ve provided consistent and personable care to those in Central Iowa while also welcoming clients from across the country who seek our services during their visits. With over 5,000 clients and 14,000 patients served, we’ve seen just about everything; so when your horse comes to us with an ailment, we’ll get to the bottom of it with our in-depth exams and in-house laboratory testing
