Serving the large animals of the Pioneer Valley and beyond since 1974. At Hess McWilliams Veterinary Services, our mission is to provide high quality and compassionate care 24/7 to horses, farm animals and their owners in our region. Education is at the core of our practice, and we are dedicated to empowering clients with the knowledge they need to support their animals' well being. By accommodating the diverse needs of animals, clients, and veterinarians, we aim to foster an environment of growth, collaboration and service, while also supporting the broader equine and farm animal communities. Our services cover everything from herd health and routine wellness to emergencies

Dr. Hess moved to Amherst in 1974 and established his own practice. Over the last 40 years, Dr. Hess has grown the practice to serve a wide area and variety of clients
