Overview

At Fur Wellness Animal Clinic we believe every owner and pet should be provided with quality, affordable preventative care. Our team will treat both you and your pet(s) with care, respect, and compassion

From a very young age, after spending lots of time on my grandfather’s dairy farm near Trufant, Michigan, I knew that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I worked my way through various positions from kennel staff, receptionist and eventually veterinary assistant prior to becoming a veterinarian. During that time, I enjoyed raising bottle fed kittens and puppies and abandoned wildlife. My motto was “they might not all make it but we won’t know unless we try”. In 2007, I graduated from St. George’s University. My clinical year was completed at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. After graduating I worked in general practice and emergency medicine before finding my true passion as a full time, solo spay/neuter/ wellness veterinarian performing thousands of surgeries a year

An independent veterinary practice offering highly affordable routine care, vaccines, and preventative surgeries such as spays and neuters. The facility is exceptionally clean and features a caring, knowledgeable veterinary team that treats pets with great gentleness and patience. Clients consistently praise the fair and low pricing structure compared to other area clinics. While the clinical and surgical care receives glowing feedback, the practice has faced challenges with phone accessibility, appointment lead times, and occasional friction at the front desk.
