Dr. Samari graduated from Iowa State University in 1992 and joined the Battle Lake Veterinary Clinic team. He established Lakes Veterinary Hospital in 2011, in the former Battle Lake Vet Clinic building. For almost 20 years Dr. Samari had been coming to Grand Marais, hoping to someday be part of the community. With the establishment of Cedar Grove Veterinary Clinic in 2017, that dream has come true
