Overview
We are proud to offer low-cost spay-neuter services to Springfield, MO, and surrounding areas. We ensure your pet is healthy, happy, and cared for while undergoing surgery!
In September 2007 a group of individuals from local animal welfare agencies began meeting to discuss ways we could partner with Springfield-Greene County Animal Control to address animal welfare issues. The result: Springfield Animal Advocacy Foundation (SAAF). Our dream: A no-kill community by 2018. We took a significant step towards that dream with the opening of S.A.A.F. Spay Neuter Clinic in August 2010. SAAF Spay Neuter Clinic is Missouri’s first Humane Alliance model spay/neuter clinic, providing the highest quality services at the lowest cost
Mission — Our mission is to lead a collaborative effort in Southwest Missouri to improve animal welfare, promote accountability in pet ownership, and reduce animal overpopulation

What reviewers say
The practice provides a highly valued, affordable spay, neuter, and vaccination service for the community, operating with remarkable efficiency and a well-organized drop-off and pick-up system. The staff is widely regarded as compassionate, knowledgeable, and gentle with animals, often accommodating anxious pets and strays with great care. While pricing is exceptionally low compared to traditional veterinary clinics and many clients report seamless surgical recoveries, some experience challenges with phone communication, scheduling, and occasional unexpected post-operative fees or communication gaps regarding additional procedures.
