Overview

Northern Veterinary Clinic is a full service animal clinic providing after hours services for emergency treatment cases as well as pet and livestock patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. The clinic also offers a large animal facility on site for livestock and horses, in addition to scheduled calls directly to the farm. Our clinic provides in-house blood work, ultrasound, radiology, and many other advanced diagnostic and treatment options to provide a high level of care for your pets and livestock

Steven Hjartarson DVM grew up in Cut Bank and returned in the spring of 2009 to provide veterinary care for his hometown, purchasing Northern Veterinary Clinic with his wife, Bess, and two sons, Jacob and Bradley. Steven completed both his B.S. in Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Pullman, Washington at Washington State University. Graduating from veterinary school in 2003, he has experience in mixed animal practices in Oregon as well as Montana – working in rural areas to provide high quality veterinary care for both large and small animals
