In October, 2001, Lake Brandt Veterinary Housecalls was created to offer professional in-home veterinary care, with a focus on providing extraordinary customer service. At that time, the founder, Dr. Jim Lofgren, used his home as a facility to offer surgery, x-ray, and hospitalization services. The business quickly grew and, in 2005, Dr. Lofgren decided to build a modern veterinary hospital facility in order to accommodate the expanding practice. In December of that year, Lake Brandt Veterinary Hospital and Housecalls opened its doors to offer even more comprehensive care, while still providing housecalls for those who required it. In 2020, due to COVID 19 and reduced demand for the service, the housecall service was discontinued. Since that time, our staff and capabilities continue to grow and our commitment to outstanding customer service and compassionate patient care will never waiver
