We are a feline-only cat-friendly primary care veterinary clinic at 13 East Doris Ave, Suite E, in Jacksonville, NC and the only cat specialty hospital in town. We are a small and personal place to take your kitty to the doctor in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere

Coastal Cat Clinic was founded March 2, 2000 in a little strip mall over by the big mall on Country Club Road. On that day, we spayed 'Karen' Moore, making her the clinic's first patient. The open house attracted about 150 people and there were sample hand-outs and drawings for cat gifts. Since then, we've moved to our current location on Doris Avenue across the street from Onslow Animal Hospital (no affiliation), and have continued to grow a great deal in clients and patients alike. In fact, we've grown to the point that we have even expanded into the F suite next door. We keep a trailer at the front of our parking lot to help make us easier to find since we're hidden in a strip mall and right across the street from another vet hospital. A picture of the clinic cat, Kru, appears on the sides of our sign-trailer in the parking lot and Candy Corn is featured on the back. Dr. Crystal Smith purchased the clinic on June 1, 2005 and has been practicing here ever since

Mission — First and foremost, our mission is to provide excellent routine veterinary care for your cat. Just as important to us is to do so in the caring and low-stress environment of a Cat Friendly Practice. In addition to doing routine shots with an emphasis on preventive medicine, we also spay, neuter and perform simple dentistry.
